This past year Everett ran its first ever Capital Campaign and with your pledges and donations we reached our goal! Everett received a $50,000 grant from the Rhode Island State Council on the Arts (RISCA) to improve handicapped accessibility and make improvements to our building’s efficiency and safety. Our staff, board, and volunteers worked to raise $68,790 and we received $50,000 from the Champlin Foundation.
Because of your generosity, we have already made much-needed repairs to our foundation, improved handicapped accessibility, and resurfaced our parking lot. In phase two, we will install a new heating/cooling system and replace the floor in our theater, complete the upgrade of our lighting and sound equipment, and add a 15’ x 30’ multi-use classroom to our existing building. All construction will be finished in August 2017, after which we will celebrate with a ribbon-cutting ceremony! Please join our email list – we would love to keep you up to date!
